I want to be a tutor because I want to help cultivate a love of reading and writing in young people. I set my teaching pace at a rate the student can understand and progress through the material. I am a freelance writer and have published numerous articles in local, Wisconsin statewide, and national publications. I am the author of The time the Earth Shook, a young adult historical fiction novel about the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. I am the playwright of "Time to Fly," a one-act play performed in West Allis, Wisconsin.
