I have been working as an educator in some capacity for the past 15 years. Whether it's as a tutor, a teacher's assistant, or a classroom teacher, I've had the experience of working with students of all ages and helping them improve their classroom knowledge and study habits. A large portion of my experience has been working as a teacher in Japan and the United States, where I taught English as a Second Language to anyone interested in learning how to gain fluency in English. Along with working as a classroom teacher, I also worked one-on-one with people of all ages, including children in elementary school all the way to adults working in the professional world. In addition to helping people learn the skills needed to use English in their professional, academic, and personal lives, I also tutored students looking to perfect their writing skills, learn a little bit more about chemistry, or get a better understanding of physics. I believe the best way to work with students is to create a student-centered classroom that places their needs first. That way, I'm able to look at every person in the class as an individual and come up with a strategy to help them reach their unique academic goals.
