I attended Marquette University and graduated in 2009 with a bachelor of arts degree. I double majored in History and Secondary Education.
Experience
I am a professional educator who has taught high school social studies for the past two years. I have experience tutoring past and present students in all social studies content areas, but also in reading comprehension, writing, analytical writing and research, and organizational skills. I have taught summer school for the past 4 years as well as being a girls and boys high school soccer coach. During college I had internships at a global risk management association, a Wall St. law firm, and I was a research assistant at the Rutgers University Center for Cognitive Science. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy helping students realize their potential and overcome challenges.
