Experience
-have tutored numerous students ages 7-47 both as an independent contractor and as an employee of Marquette's Office of Student Educational Services, where I worked for two years as a college student tutoring calculus and statistics. Can tutor students of any age but prefer 11 or older. Currently tutoring in addition to my full time job as a high school math teacher (precalculus, algebra, and a algebra support). SAT composite: 2340 SAT Verbal: 800 SAT Math: 800 SAT Writing: 740 AP English Literature: 5 AP Calculus BC: 5 Education is my career and my passion. It is the path to greater freedom in life, and as I have been privileged with a quality education I feel an obligation to help others make the most of their education. I enjoy working with struggling students as well as gifted ones. At my school I am the faculty advisor of our new math club where I work to challenge and support our strongest students, and I also teach two sections of algebra support, where I build strong relationships and foster success among students who have not always done well in their math classes.
