I completed over 50 hours of student-teacher observation where I was actually given the privilege to help students with problems on their quizzes and homework. I want to be a tutor because I know from when I was younger that I wished I had a tutor to help inspire and push me to better myself educationally and that is what I want to be. I think that whatever a student is troubled with can be solved with a little bit more tutoring and a different attitude towards that subject. I actually tested out of the math classes that I was required to take in college but it was always my best subject. However for social studies, I have taken a wide variety of different history and geography courses to broaden my knowledge.
