Private tutor in Milwaukee, WI

University of Delaware - BME, Mechanical Engineering

I hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Economics, Biomedical Engineering, and Mathematics from the University of Delaware. I now work for a large manufacturing corporation, in a leadership rotation program. Over the past couple of years, I have lived in Hartford, Connecticut and Charlotte, North Carolina, and I now live and work in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have been very active in each of these communities. One of my primary volunteer activities has involved assisting adults who are working toward their GEDs learn Math and English. I have also tutored children in these same areas. With each student, my goal is not just to get through the assigned material and prepare him or her for the test, but to give the student the tools he or she needs to achieve future goals in any arena. I am available for tutoring in mathematical subjects ranging from Elementary Math through Calculus, Physics, Reading, and English. I can also assist with standardized test preparation, including SAT and GMAT prep. When I'm not working or volunteering, I like to hike, ride my bike, run, and rock climb. If the weather doesn't allow me to get outside and get active, I'm always happy to spend some time with a good book.

In my spare time I try to be outdoors either hiking, biking, running, or rock climbing. If the weather isn't conducive to any of my outdoor hobbies, a good book will be a perfect substitute.
