I have a BA in applied physics from Saint John's University. While in college, I often tutored high level math and physics. Some of the courses I tutored are linear algebra, calculus, electronics, and modern physics. I find that I am most enthusiastic about tutoring in physics, and I try to instill a real sense of fun when I teach it. To me, physics offers a lot of chances to relate the material to the real world. There are many circumstances where students can see the importance of physics in the world they live in. It's up to me to make sure that they do, and that they understand it well. Education is one of the best ways to improve quality of life. I try to instill this into my students so that they understand the implications that learning can have, not only on their lives, but for the entire world. Education can truly help the world. When I'm not tutoring, I love to be active. I am often out with the dog enjoying the park, or perhaps playing sports like baseball, basketball, rugby, or football.
