Private tutor in Milwaukee, WI
University of Kansas - BS, Anthropology/molecular biosciences/pre-med/theatre & Film , University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee - MS, Anthropology
I'm currently in a graduate-level program at the University of Wisconsin. I work on a variety of subjects for my graduate research. This includes neuroscience, biology, anthropology, and psychology. Before starting my graduate courses, I focused my studies on Theater and Film, as well as Anthropology. I eventually chose to enroll in school again to work on molecular biosciences and pre-medicine studies. Before I was a teacher, I worked as a phlebotomist. I also did research in a lab. When I'm not in the classroom or working with my students, I take dancing lessons, watch TV shows, and serve as the president of the Anthropology Student Union. I love tutoring because I get the chance to be a mentor. I work with each student to help them better understand new ideas and concepts. I also help my students improve upon their study skills, so they can become an even better student. I don't focus on memorization, but instead encourage my students to feel more comfortable with the subject matter. I like to find new ways to make information stick with each student, because I feel everyone learns differently.I'm looking forward to working with you to help you improve your skills and reach your goals!
