EducationSouthern Methodist University - Bachelors, Psychology and Sociology , Marquette University - Current Grad Student, Clinical Psychology Ph.D
ExperienceI'm a Marquette University student pursuing a clinical psychology PhD. I went to Southern Methodist University to earn my bachelor of arts degree in psychology and sociology. As an undergraduate, I tutored college students and high school students. As a high school student, I tutored high school level, middle school level, and elementary school level students. My specialties as a tutor are sociology, psychology, math, study skills, and test preparation for the GRE and SAT.
When I work with students, I focus on building a customized study plan that matches the learning style of the student. I also prioritize creating an environment in which the student feels comfortable learning. Ultimately, I want to motivate my students and help them become confident in their abilities so that they want to keep learning. I believe every student can be a success, so students need a positive attitude and determination to reach and exceed their goals.
When I have spare time, I like to ride my bike, walk, ride horses, cook, bake, read mystery novels, trying out new restaurants and coffee shops, and watch television and movies.
