Hola, Hello! I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Spanish Language, Literature and Culture at Marquette University. I hold a BA in Spanish and Studies in Education with a minor in Ethnic Studies from Edgewood College. I have completed undergraduate coursework in ESL education and have received an Advanced ranking in reading, writing, speaking and listening in Spanish from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. In addition, I have studied, lived and taught English to elementary school students in Puebla, Mexico.
Experience
I am currently a Spanish Instructor at the collegiate level. As an undergraduate student, I was a tutor for other undergraduate students studying in the Spanish Department at Edgewood College. In addition, for two years as an AmeriCorps member, I gained extensive experience in both literacy tutoring for middle school students and ESL education for high school students and adults. I have created curriculum and facilitated both one-on-one and group tutoring sessions.

My central goals as a professional are to serve others, promote intercultural understanding, and support the intellectual development of learners of all ages.
