ExperienceEnglish as a foreign language: I began tutoring in 2008, and enjoyed it so much that I haven't stopped since! :) I love working with students from all over the world! It is my passion and my mission to help non-natives find joy in the English language. I have a Bachelors degree in English Literature, and I currently volunteer two days a week teaching ESL at UWM. I have found many students benefit from a one-on-one tutoring experience, in addition to a group or classroom setting. I understand that many of my students are preparing to take the TOEFL exam, and many questions arise which can be best answered in a more focused tutoring session.
First grade: I am currently a first grade teacher, working in a private school setting. Every student is unique, and not all students learn information in the same way. I love presenting material in a way that meets the student's individual learning style.
HobbiesI enjoy working with all ages!
Since 2010 I have volunteered teaching ESL to adult learners (18 years and older). I am extremely patient, and understand that learning a language can be difficult, frustrating, but also exhilarating and extremely rewarding!

She is a nice person and a good teacher. Though I had passed TOFEL in China, when I landed in America, I found that people can not understand me rather well. She helps to correct my pronunciation little by little, full of patience. It makes my words much more standard and easier to be recognized. Thank you Jenny.
