| Experience: | I don't have any previous tutoring experience, but I have gone to a tutor and I have taken an ACT class. And from both of those experiences, I believe I have the sense of what goes on and what needs to go on during those types of sessions. Offering first hand experience, I think, is very important because the student can directly relate with the tutor.
I'm not the smartest kid out there and probably never will no matter how hard I work, but I think that is what makes me a great option. I know how hard it is to get what you want. I know what it takes and have gotten there. I fought for my academic records and got into a great school!
I am also an 8-year survivor of Leukemia and that has also helped prove my drive to be better. Students need to believe in themselves and they will be great! |
