Hobbies
I believe that learning does not have to be a chore. I often go about my work with a fun yet firm demeanor. My students at Madison Memorial High School understand that I provide both information and entertainment when they come over to the History table. I make sure that I develop a relationship with each of my students, yet I make it clear that I friendly without being their friend. I have worked as a museum intern at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum and the Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience in Jackson, MS; my job often involved developing educational programs for young adults which would be both informative and interesting. I believe I can find a way to help your child learn all they need to know about History, Political Science, Writing, or the ACT, without ruining their summer!
